SSC CHSL 2025: Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination

The Staff Selection Commission has announced the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025. This exam is conducted annually to recruit candidates for various Group ‘C’ posts like Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operators in different Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India.

SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Pattern

The SSC CHSL 2025 examination will be conducted in three tiers:

  • Tier-I: Computer Based Examination (Objective Multiple Choice)
  • Tier-II: Computer Based Examination (Objective Multiple Choice)
  • Tier-III: Skill Test/Typing Test (wherever applicable)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit:

18-27 years as on 01.01.2025

Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:

  • OBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwD: 10 years
  • Ex-servicemen: As per rules

Application Process

  2. Register if you’re a new user or login with existing credentials

  4. Upload scanned photograph and signature as per specifications
  5. Pay the application fee
  6. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference

Application Fee

The application fee for SSC CHSL 2025 is expected to be:

  • SC/ST/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
