Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For Grade A Officers:

  • RDBS: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) and knowledge of word processing.
  • Development Specialist: Master’s Degree in relevant field (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, etc.).
  • Finance: CA/CMA/MBA (Finance)/PGDM (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Economics: Master’s Degree in Economics/Econometrics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics.
  • Legal: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) with minimum 60% marks.
  • IT: Engineering Degree in Computer Science/IT or MCA/MSc in Computer Science.
  • Rajbhasha: Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at Bachelor’s level or Master’s in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects at Bachelor’s level.

For Grade B Officers:

  • Similar qualifications as Grade A with additional 2-3 years of work experience in relevant fields.

Age Limit:

  • Grade A: 21-30 years
  • Grade B: 25-35 years
  • Age relaxation as per government norms:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years

Selection Process

The NABARD Grade A & B 2024-25 selection process consists of three phases:

Phase I: Preliminary Examination (Online)

  • Total marks: 200
  • Time duration: 2 hours
  • Sections:

    • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 marks
    • Reasoning: 50 marks
    • General Awareness: 50 marks

  • Paper III: Technical Subject (as per post applied): 100 marks (1.5 hours)
  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in objective-type questions

Phase III: Interview

  • Grade A: 25 marks
  • Grade B: 50 marks
  • Minimum qualifying marks:
    • General/EWS/OBC: 50%
    • SC/ST/PwBD: 45%

Final Selection Criteria

The final selection is based on the aggregate scores obtained in Phase II (Main Examination) and Phase III (Interview). The weightage of scores is as follows:

  • Grade A:
    • Phase II (Main Examination): 85%
    • Phase III (Interview): 15%
  • Grade B:
    • Phase II (Main Examination): 70%
    • Phase III (Interview): 30%

Candidates equal to the number of vacancies in each category and stream will be selected, subject to their scoring minimum qualifying marks.
