Next Stage: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who have qualified in the written examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The details are as follows:

Physical Standard Test (PST) Requirements:

For Male Candidates:

  • Height: General/OBC/EBC/EWS: 165 cm, SC/ST: 160 cm
  • Chest: General/OBC/EBC/EWS: 81 cm (unexpanded) and 86 cm (expanded), SC/ST: 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded)

For Female Candidates:

  • Height: General/OBC/EBC/EWS: 155 cm, SC/ST: 150 cm
  • Weight: Proportionate to height as per medical standards

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Requirements:

For Male Candidates:

  • Race: 1 mile (1.6 km) to be completed in 6 minutes
  • High Jump: Minimum 1.15 meters (3 attempts allowed)
  • Long Jump: Minimum 3.75 meters (3 attempts allowed)

For Female Candidates:

  • Race: 1 km to be completed in 5 minutes
  • High Jump: Minimum 0.85 meters (3 attempts allowed)
  • Long Jump: Minimum 2.75 meters (3 attempts allowed)

Special Exemptions:

  • NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Exempted from Race component of PET
  • State/National Level Sports Persons: Additional 5% relaxation in qualifying standards
